Automation

Control options and features

The mixer can be equipped with various PLC systems, including Allen Bradley Micrologix or Siemens PLC. The control system includes an access key system, ensuring that the mixer can only be operated with the correct key, preventing it from being activated in unsafe situations.

The standard software offers the following functions:

  • Three security levels with password protection: Operator, Engineer, and Supervisor.
  • Automatic mode: Easy operation using recipes stored in memory. For each recipe, speed and mixing time can be set individually.
  • Manual mode for tasks such as clamping and slowly rotating the container, and returning it to the start position, which is especially useful for cleaning and restarting after disruptions.
  • Programming the PLC.

In collaboration with Slo-rid, Fenicrom IBC develops and maintains the software for the PLC control system. This enables us to offer a fully integrated solution, ensuring maximum compatibility and seamless integration with our container mixers.
